We run a ‘site mapper’ tool on your page, this is nearly identical to the way Google and other search engines ‘crawl’ your page.
Reason: A search engine or bot, sees your page very differently than the way a person does. Running this tool allows us to tell if your webpage is ‘Search-engine friendly’.

We run a ‘link-checker’ tool on your page.
Reason: This tells us quickly whether or not all the links on your page go somewhere, or if some go to pages that no longer exist or have been moved.

We do two or three keyword searches on one or two of the major search engines.
Reason: This helps to find out if you are likely to get the free-advertising traffic generated by search-engines.

We provide a short, one or two page analysis based on the information we gather from the above tools, and based on our experience with the internet, web design, and customer satisfaction. We ask ourselves a few questions such as; Was the site visually appealing? Was the site easy to navigate? Did pages load quickly? We put ourselves in the shoes of your potential viewers and customers and provide a short list of recommendations for how you might improve your viewer’s experience.
